Welsh organisation? Your training could be 75% funded
The Welsh Government's Flexible Skills Programme covers 75% of eligible AI training costs - meaning a full team training day with Halo Support costs from just £237.50 for a 20 person team.
What is the Flexible Skills Programme?
The Flexible Skills Programme (FSP) is a Welsh Government initiative that funds workplace training for businesses and charities based in Wales. It was designed to help organisations develop the skills their teams need to stay competitive - and artificial intelligence is one of the named eligible training areas.
The programme covers 50% of the cost of eligible training, jumping to 75% for AI Training specifically, meaning your organisation pays just 25% of the usual cost. The application is straightforward, and we can support you with it where needed.
Funding is available until at least March 2027. Eligibility criteria apply.
Full details are available on the Business Wales Flexible Skills Programme page.

Is my organisation eligible for FSP funding?
To claim Flexible Skills Programme funding for AI training, your organisation needs to meet the following criteria:
Your organisation must:
Be based in Wales
Be financially solvent
Be a private sector business or third sector organisation (charities and social enterprises are included)
Commit to releasing staff to complete the training by the end of March 2027
The training must:
Be delivered by an accredited provider
Meet a recognised standard - CPD accreditation satisfies this requirement
All Halo Support AI training courses are accredited by The CPD Group, meaning they meet the eligibility requirements for FSP funding. If you are unsure whether your organisation qualifies, register your interest below and we will help you work it out.
Why does CPD accreditation matter for FSP funding?
CPD accreditation is one of the key eligibility requirements for the Flexible Skills Programme. It tells the Welsh Government that the training meets a recognised industry standard for continuing professional development - and without it, your organisation cannot claim the funding.
Not all AI training providers are CPD accredited. All Halo Support AI training courses carry accreditation from The CPD Group, making your application straightforward.
How does the Flexible Skills Programme work in practice?
Get in touch with us. We will have an informal conversation about your organisation, your team and what you are hoping to achieve. No sales pitch, just an honest conversation.
We will help you check that your organisation meets the FSP criteria before you commit to anything. If you are not eligible, we will tell you honestly rather than waste your time.
You complete the Business Wales application process that involves an initial form, followed by more detail on the requested training which we will help you with by supplying a full overview of the training and objectives.
Once approved and funding is offered, you book your session. We deliver the training, you pay just 25% of the cost, and your team leaves with practical AI skills they can use immediately.
