As a Welsh business, we’ve been proud to offer a bilingual Welsh and English system since day 1 and are now excited to be able to offer the Halo Sign-in System in multiple other languages.
COMING EARLY 2025
We will be offering an Add-on to the Halo Sign-in System that will allow you to offer any public-facing text in multiple languages. The goal is to offer as many languages as possible, but to begin with we want to start with the most popular ones.
If you would like to take advantage of this new feature, please click the button below to register your interest and also tell us more about the languages used by Pupils and Families in School.
This allows us to create a list of the most widely used languages rather than just relying on Census data.
One-Off Purchase
The Add-on will be available for a one-off fee of £125. As we are still in the early phases of deployment we are offering an “early bird” price of £99 to schools that register their interest early.
We have to charge for this Add-on because of the considerable cost of getting the system professionally translated into multiple languages.
The organisation we use is an Accredited company that employs expert human translators, not just an AI model or Google Translate.

This all depends on how many schools sign up for the service. The more schools that sign up the more languages we can pay to have the system translated into. The languages we choose to begin with will be informed by the feedback we receive from schools and the languages most frequently requested.
Over time we will add more languages to the system.

We have always offered updates to the App for free, as long as people are paying for the annual support package.
With this new feature, we have had to offer it for a small charge to cover some of the costs of employing a third-party organisation to professionally translate the words and phrases in the App. There are around 1200 words that need to be translated and the costs to translate and verify all of these words will run into multiple thousands of pounds.
Once the Add-on has been purchased you will then receive all additional languages at no additional cost.

That's completely fine. The Add-on is completely optional and won't affect any other functionality of the App.
