Halo Support was founded in 2017 by Mark Haycock and Tom Lewis. The purpose of the company is to provide exceptional support, guidance and training to schools on using mobile technology so that teachers can focus on teaching without worrying about the equipment. We believe that by spending time getting to know each school and really exploring how the technology can enrich daily life means that you can use the equipment that’s already in place and transform the way it’s used by pupils and teachers
From offsite remote management of the hardware itself to onsite training and support, we believe our service brings together the technical and hands on support needed for schools to get more out of their IT.
Tom is the Co-Founder of Halo Support and has worked with schools across Wales with the aim of improving the way they use mobile technology. He runs most of the training courses for Halo Support and has a passion for technology, whether that’s exploring Virtual and Augmented Reality or finding out how drones can be used to teach coding. He enjoys a challenge and loves finding new ways that schools can use technology to make their lives easier. Tom is a Google for Education Level 2 Certified Educator.
Mark is the Co-Founder of Halo Support and has traveled the country helping Schools realise their iPad projects and with setting up 1000+ iPads and 100+ Macs a year has seen most issues and over come them. He's worked extensively with Apple devices over the last 25 years and has a broad knowledge in the fields of Mac Server management, mobile device management (MDM), data management (FileMaker), geographic information systems (GIS), problem solving through logical thinking, public engagement design and planning.
